DON’T LIKE TO READ…OR YOU DON’T KNOW HOW

OK, SO YOU DON’T LIKE TO READ…OR YOU DON’T KNOW HOW

YOU CAN ONLY BELIEVE WHAT FOX TELLS YOU OR WHAT YOU READ IN BUMPER STICKERS

But what if we draw a picture for you? What if we told you that you can’t ignore the fact that we have always done better when Democrats are at the helm? And also, if you don’t think that it was Bush and the Republicans the ones to blame for the mess we are in…look at pictures…graphs are awesome!

This graph, for instance, is the best visualization I've seen of Larry Bartels’s striking data showing how different income groups do under Republican and Democratic presidents:

IT IS ABOUT THOSE WHO NEED IT AND WANT IT AS OPPOSED TO THOSE WHO DON’T NEED IT NOR HAVE THEY ASKED FOR IT.

Now, I don’t know if it might be necessary to hit you across the face with a 2 X 4 so you can understand it. To hear the Teahadist-Republicans talk you would think that if we eliminate Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and Public Education we would be able to balance the budget.

Has it occurred to you that a few billion dollars are all that is needed to extend unemployment benefits for those who are on the brink of facing devastation and to offer assistance to single mothers with children so they can feed their kids. Why do Teahadist-Republicans begrudge this and not eliminating the tax cuts to the rich when we all know that it will pile up $700 billion to our debt? Is that so hard to understand?

What is driving our country to ruin are two stupid wars and all the tax breaks, rewards for businesses to take their headquarters and manufacturing abroad and subsidies; it is not Social Security which by the way is solvent for a few more decades. But what about Medicare and Medicaid? Those also can be easily fixed with a PUBLIC OPTION. We need to take the Insurance Companies out of the equation because they don’t provide any service nor are of any use to the welfare and good health of Americans…they are but parasites. So, if you don’t understand that or you are not willing to accept it as fact then perhaps a little water boarding would be in order.
