Interior Designer Timothy Corrigan ~ A Parisian Pied-à-Terre

Timothy Corrigan mixed only the best of the best while designing this Parisian pied-à-terre.  Opulence is the word that comes to mind when I see the work of this interior designer for his California client.  Silk and chandeliers are just the beginning of the luxuries endowed here.  ENJOY!

THOMAS BRITT and BACK TO SCHOOL I GO

Well, I must say that I have enjoyed this couple of weeks off, but school is calling.  I will be taking a class on culture, a masters level art history class, and a masters level painting class.  I am really excited because I love ART!  It is just something I have always studied whether I needed to or not.

Now, before I get back to the nitty gritty, I wanted to tell all of you how much I appreciate your messages each day, and especially how much I enjoy your blogs.  To those that have generously added me to your blog list, I am greatly thankful.  It has really been a great 10 months.

I am going to try my best to post everyday and continue to visit each blog.  I am addicted!  Soooo... on to Mr. Britt

I hope that you enjoy this home that Britt designed in Manhattan.  It is tailored, which is something I really love.  Not that I don't like stirring things up a little, because I do, but less is sometimes more.  ENJOY!

I LOVE THIS!!!

Shall I say more?  Now for those of you that know me, you know that these are MY COLORS.
I hope that you have enjoyed this post.  Happy Weekend!

I would love for you to visit my daughter's blog, belles & bows
Savvy ladies AND gentlemen will love this.

See you soon,
Teresa

This Is It

Finally...

After years of going back and forth on colors to use in my living and dining room area, I have decided on brown/olive brown as my color scheme.  I love this dining room in the June issue of Architectural Digest.

Many years ago the builders accidentally laid brown carpet in my family room instead of the sand color ordered.  Unfortunately, it was after they replaced it that I realized how much I liked the color.

I have always kept tear sheets and magazines, and I noticed that brown was the dominant color saved.  I will use brown and lavender in my bedroom.  So...wish me luck.

I wish I could find the photo that turned on the light in my stubborn brain, but I found these rooms designed by Kelley Proxmire via My Knotting Hill blog.

Domino via Little Green Notebook blog.

I love the fabric used to cover the chairs above.

See you soon,
