SHARON ANGLE COULD NOT BE ANY MORE NUTS THAN ANY PERSON FOUND IN A MENTAL INSTITUTION
"You've heard Sharron Angle wants to wipe out Social Security, now she says it's like Welfare," a narrator says before audio is featured of Angle herself saying, "My grandfather would not even take his Social Security check because he said he was not up for welfare, he had planned for his retirement, and he wouldn't take it."
Angle speaking to conservative Nevada talk show host Bill Manders –says she hopes that the vote in November will be the cure for Reid and 2nd amendment remedies won’t be necessary.
Angle: I feel that the Second Amendment is the right to keep and bear arms for our citizenry. This not for someone who's in the military. This not for law enforcement. This is for us. And in fact when you read that Constitution and the founding fathers, they intended this to stop tyranny. This is for us when our government becomes tyrannical...
Manders: If we needed it at any time in history, it might be right now.
Angle: Well it's to defend ourselves. And you know, I'm hoping that we're not getting to Second Amendment remedies. I hope the vote will be the cure for the Harry Reid problems.
The sentiments are not a one-off.
As Jonathan Karl reported earlier this month, she told the Reno Gazette-Journal that people are quietly stocking up on ammunition in case they need to resort to insurrection or, as she put it, a “fight for liberty.”
"What is a little bit disconcerting and concerning is the inability for sporting goods stores to keep ammunition in stock," she told the newspaper. "That tells me the nation is arming. What are they arming for if it isn't that they are so distrustful of their government? They're afraid they'll have to fight for their liberty in more Second Amendment kinds of ways?” she said.
Angle is a favorite of the Tea Parties, which are steeped in Revolutionary imagery. She is not alone in floating the idea of armed insurrection.
My comment to Angle is this: Should you succeed and defeat Harry Reid, you will surely be part of a movement that will inflict great damage to our country and make the Federal Government part of a real tyranny. So, if that is the case, those very Second amendment solutions will be available to your opposition. What is good for the goose, is good for the gander…We SECULAR PROGRESSIVES have the ability to arm ourselves too…and we are not going to tolerate a tyranny or a theocracy.
