Forget the romance!!!

Happy Friday everyone!! We are going to have a gorgeous weekend here! It's supposed to be in the mid 60's, and then winter returns to us next week. We'll probably have snow and freezing temps again. So I'm going to enjoy it while I can. I threw this card together really quick tonight! I LOVE these Moonlight Whisper stamps from Kraftin Kimmie!  This image is Charlotte, and I LOVE the twitch in her eye. LOL!

I kept this one VERY simple, and went wild with the distressing. I thought Charlotte looked just a smidge distressed and maybe just a tad frayed around the edges, so kind of tried to match the feeling of the card to her. I even took the machine stitching all over the place for this one. The DP is from Nitwit Collections and the cardstock is Bazzill. The sentiment is my very own, again to reflect what Charlotte might be feeling. I even took my scissors to that beautiful silk ribbon.  I'd like to enter this into Kraftin Kimmie's challenge "Seeing Red"  Boy am I'm pushing it on this one! I've got like five minutes left! LOL! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

This little cutie patootie was cut out with circle and petite scalloped Nesties, and then I used a Martha Stewart border punch.  The cardstock is Bazzill Basics and  I thought this paper from Nitwit Collections was just perfect for this image! The bow is made from May Arts silk ribbon and I added a little heart charm from my stash.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I hope you're having a wonderful day, whether it be with your sweetie, your kids, grandkids, friends, or just time alone to reflect. But whatever you're doing, I hope you're enjoying it. This was just a quick Valentine card I threw together simply because I wanted to use this adorable frog! That's it, nothing else than to use the frog. LOL!

He's a digi image from Pink Cat Studio and I printed him out three times. I popped the balloon, his hands (or front legs - whichever you want to call them) and his face up once each, and his eyes I added a third so they're really sticking up. Cardstock is Bazzill, and the frog is colored with Copic markers.

The sentiment is computer generated, and it was just a lot of fun tomake. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and I sure hope to see you back here tomorrow for a Magnolia-licious blog hop!! Take care and have a wonderful day! HUGS!

I Stink I Love You - Papertake Weekly and Kraftin Kimmie

Hi everyone! We made it through Monday! That means it's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly! This week is a sketch week, so we have another fabulous sketch from the uber talented Dawny Phillips! Also, we're being sponsored by Kraftin Kimmie!! I don't know if you're familiar with Kraftin Kimmie stamps. I just recently discovered them myself. But I LOVE them! They're fun, whimsical, and some are just a little bit quirky. Just like me!! LOL! This adorable stamp is from Kraftin Kimmie's Crissy's Cuties called Lucy and Ricky. LOVE IT!!

I saw this fun, fun sentiment on my friend and DT Sister's blog, Donna Mundinger! She made an absolutely adorable card with a skunk just the other day, and used this cute sentiment. So I just had to borrow it from her. Thank you for all your inspiration, Donna! The stamp is colored with Copic Markers. I also used a Martha Stewart border punch. Those little hearts in the corners of the stamped image are the little hearts punched out with that same border punch. I love the size of them!

Please be sure and visit Papertake Weekly and check out the amazing cards the rest of the fabulously talented design team has created! You are in for a treat!! Then grab your paper and glue and join in the fun with us! You might get lucky and win a prize from Kraftin Kimmie! Sure wish I was elligible! LOL! A gift for you.....ME! Three Clovers Thursday

Ok, know that I'm typing this post up on Wednesday evening.... and I have to say that I actually worked out this afternoon when I got home from work to my new Wii Active. Good Golly, am I ever out of shape!!!!!! WHEW! LOL! It kicked me square in the old behiny, but I needed it, and my goal right now is to do a workout three days a week to start. I'm just happy I made myself do it! Whatcha say?? Are ya proud of me??? :) I'm REALLY afraid of trying to get up out of bed in the morning at 4:30 am..... Hopefully I'll be able to stand up straight! HAHA! Anyway, enough about that! Hope you have had a fabulous week so far!! This week over on Three Clovers Designs, Kerry asked us to create a card that represents our New Years Resolutions. Well....I try really hard not to make New Years Resolutions as I tend to break them before the end of the first week. But there is one goal I have full intentions on trying to stay on track with ths year (besides my Wii Active of course). And that's using up a lot more of my scrap paper. So that's what I did. This card was made completely with paper from my scrap pile! WOOHOO!!! I've got such a huge pile of scraps, and I'm bound and determined to use them up! I made a fun Valentine's Day card using one of the Christmas stamps from Magnolia-licious. I just love this cute Tilda and think she's so versatile. Inside the card, it says "ME! Happy Valentine's Day!!". I thought it was only appropriate since she's all wrapped up in a big bow! :) I used #3001 Wrapped Tilda along with the heart from the new winter club kit. I'm sure Diana will have the new stamps up for preorder as soon as she's able, so keep an eye out for it! They are colored with Copic markers and then cut out and popped up for dimension.
The DP is Basic Grey and cardstock is Bazzill. I also used one of my new Martha Stewart border punches with hearts. Love this one. Those border punches are like an addiction! UGH! I must stop collecting them! That's it for today! Please visit Kerry over at Three Clovers Designs to see the rest of the teams take on this challenge. Then we'd love it if you'd play along with us!
Now for some REALLY fun stuff!!! I have recently reached two milestones. My hit counter hit 150,000 and I now have over 400 followers. I still can't believe that many people enjoy visiting and looking at my work. So as a little token of appreciation from me to you, I will be putting up some blog candy for you some time this weekend. So please be sure and check back! :) Thanks so much for popping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Heart shaped Valentine card

YAY! We made it through Monday! I have had soooo much fun making Valentine cards!! This heart shaped card is from a set of shaped cards from The Cutting Cafe' that you can either cut with your cutting machine (I used my Pazzle) or you can just print it off and cut it out manually. Either way, these cards are FUN!!

I cut out the base image, but I wanted it to stand up, so I just made a strip of cardstock and glued the front and back of the card to the front and back of the cardstock. Works like a charm! I also wanted a scalloped edge, so I just made that using my Pazzle. Yep....I know....I just used this Tilda not that long ago. But seriously now....can you blame me??? LOL! She's so cute that I couldn't resist!! I colored her up with my Copic markers.

Most of this card is just Bazzill cardstock. That little strip on the front base is a piece of Basic Grey scrap paper I had. the little hearts on the white....well.....those are the leftover little hearts that come from the punched out portion of the MSBP. Nothing like using scraps, huh? LOL! That circle stamp is from another set of Valentine stamps from The Cutting Cafe'!

I used some Prima flowers with a Basic Grey brad, and that pretty pink ribbon is from I {heart} Papers. That's about it! Thanks again for stopping by to see me today, and I sure hope to see you here again soon!!

Another Valentine! Hope you're not sick of them cause we have a couple weeks left! LOL!

I am having so much fun making all these Valentine cards!! And of course, I just HAD to use another one of my new Tilda stamps! I have no idea what the name of this one is, but I LOVE her! How can you not??? LOL! Have you seen anything anymore precious??!!! (click on the pictures for a nice close up view)

This is called a TENT TOPPER card and learned how to make them from my adopted sis DeeDee!! The bottom of the card is 4 1/4" square, and then you just make whatever shape topper you want and attach it to the base so the card ends up measuring as an A2 card ( 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") It makes such an adorable card that I will be making many more like this!

I colored her with my Copic markers and cut her out so I could pop her up (have I ever mentioned how much I like dimension?? LOL!) I'm really sorry, my scraps are in a mess right now and I can't find this piece of pattern paper to tell you who the maker is. The cardstock is Bazzill. The oval shapes were cut with my nesties and then I ran the white through my Cuttlebug with the swiss dots embossing folder. The sentiment was just printed on my computer and the hearts on either side of it are from my Martha Stewart punch.
That's it for tonight! I sure do appreciate you stopping by to visit me today! Hope you had a good Monday (as good as Monday's can be) and I hope to see you again soon! HUGS!!
