White, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant, heterosexual rich old men
Does that fit the description of the overwhelming majority of the Republicans? Certainly not, but the ones who are on the top of the food chain and in politics certainly does. All you have to do is look at their GOP convention like I did and notice there was a disturbing absence of Blacks, Latinos, young, women and yes…gays. You would be hard pressed to find many of those.
This is no accident; as the Republican Party has become the bastion of these WASPHROMS. It has gotten to the point where they don’t even beat around the bush any more and try to disguise their real motives for voting a certain way: it is to protect and benefit the very rich and the corporations…period, no if, no buts.
So, just for the hell of it, do me a favor and at the next Republican Convention try to find the needle in the haystack.
