FIRST SARAH PALIN AND THE TEA BAGGERS, THEN THE ARIZONA “SHOW ME YOUR PAPERS LAW”, THEN SHARON ANGLE AND NOW IT IS CHRISTINE O’DONNELL’S TURN.
They seem to be coming out of the woodwork…all these right wing radicals. They do have one thing in common: when they open their mouths they stick not just a foot but the whole leg. There is no stopping these wing nuts…they will go out and express some far out concept and even display a lot of ignorance while doing so…they are their own worst enemy. If left to their own devices they wouldn’t stand a chance in the world to be elected to dog catcher let alone senator or President.
Oh yes, the Republican Party has tried to muzzle them a little, to soften the rough edges, to smooth their message…even redoing their websites. But eventually they fuck up. There is always some pesky reporter that will ask them difficult questions…you know those kinds of questions they don’t have a prepared answered and have the reporters submit a week in advance…why that just isn’t fair is it…that reporters ask you questions that stump you and get you all flustered in front of the camera? These are “got you questions”, don’t you know.
Surely Rand Paul felt the heat after his short lived victory celebration when he appeared with Rachel Maddow…he just wasn’t ready for her insistence and her being adversarial…he thought it was going to be just like at Fox…boy was he wrong. So he recoiled like a sneaky snake and kind of went back in the closet…the political one of course and you never heard from him again.
He was of course grateful that Sharon Angle won the nomination from the Repugnantly Republican Party of Nevada to run for the Senate and from then on it was Sharon and not Rand who began to feel the heat. She was crazier and had made more outlandish statements than he…like that 2nd Amendment option bullshit of hers…And then it was the Republican Party that softened her web site and muzzled her…I am sure they told her to keep her god dammed mouth shut or she would lose the election…if she was a nice girl she would listen and just coast easily to victory in November.
The controversy over the Muslim Learning Center then took on a life of its own and we saw all kinds of racist and hateful rhetoric coming out of most Repugnant Republicans so that Sharon Angle thought she was off the hook…at least for a while.
And when we thought it couldn’t get any crazier here comes this prudish, nitwit hypocrite from Delaware. This woman takes the cake and we all know you can’t have your cake and eat it too. She is almost surreal and yet…there are people out there who went out and voted for her…just like they are still supporting Sarah Palin after she has stopped giving interviews and shown her incompetence…but they say she has charisma and is a force to be reckoned with…only in America.
