Buffet has lunch with Gates
THEY ARE INDIGNANT OVER 98% OF AMERICANS GETTING A FREE RIDE…THE RICH THINK THEY ARE REVOLTING AND THEY ARE DISGUSTING TOO.
The super wealthy of America are not going to take it anymore. They are just about fed up with paying more than their fair share of taxes. This beleaguered class has seen their incomes go up and up only to be swallowed by a very unfair progressive income tax that is even forcing them to suffer untold indignities. Some of them have even had to sell their mansions; others have given up their second home in the Hamptons.
The efforts by the super rich to manipulate and control the government by lobbyists and political contributions have had its results but it has not been effective enough to change the outcome significantly. People like the Koch brothers, who have been very discrete and have worked behind the scenes to create and develop think tanks and organizations that would change the way Americans think of a pure capitalist, right wing government has also been only partially effective.
What this country needs a complete elimination of income taxes to be replaced by a general across the board sales tax. But if this is not possible, perhaps a much better solution is to have a direct tax on all the paychecks Americans get so that the rich don’t have to pay taxes anymore…you know like FICA, UNEMPLOYMENT, SOCIAL SECURITY deductions on paychecks…They could call it RAT (Rich added tax) and that way we the working middle class and poor could make our contributions directly to the rich and no longer bother them and torment them.
Bill Gates stopped in Omaha to lunch near the airport with Warren Buffett at a Hollywood Diner, giving it a small place in history as one venue where the two made plans for their drive to boost giving.
The Koch brothers and many of the super rich are highly critical of those rich people like Gates and Buffet who have a plan to give away half of their wealth to charitable organizations…The super rich think these are misguided liberal progressives with money.
